Based on the model of community supported agriculture, the goal of Community Supported Artist is to create a base of support for my studio practice by selling affordable art work created exclusively for this program. This is the second year of the program.

One share is designed for a household and half-shares are available. A maximum of 100 shares are produced each year and the works are a variation on a theme, not an edition. Shares are available for purchase, trade, or exchange of services.

Last year’s CSA artworks were designed for the living room; this year’s work is intended for your bathroom. For 2010, a full share consists of both of the following (choose one for a half share):

> A Finger Painting For Your Bathroom: a 13” x 15” porcelain tile with a cobalt blue finger painting. Mounting hardware included. Water resistant.

> Meteorites: stoneware with an iron-rich, meteor-like glaze.
