Plaster Table #1 was an octagonal table presented during the UCLA Spring 2009 Open Studios. Visitors were allowed to carve, incise or otherwise modify the plaster. Red clay helped bring out the relief carvings. A modified version of the traditional ceramic wedging table, the finished look depends on the interest of the audience.
