One Merkel measures the length of my right arm from arm pit to fingertips, or about 31.4 inches. Currently, it's only available as a promotional giveaway with my 2009 Community Supported Artist Program. The One Merkel Rulers have many functions, including as a straightedge, a way to keep the world at arm's length, or as a yardstick for art. Also, One Merkel is the appropriate viewing distance for most of the work I create.
