about:

Original text from the now-discontinued site, artistdirect.blogspot.com:

The internet experience is increasingly about your ability to customize what you see and how you see it. Companies also have embraced this trend, allowing you to design products online. I feel art should be no different.

On this site, I will utilize print-on-demand services to produce editions of work with images I create or curate. I will select where the images can be printed, and though I will give suggestions, you will decide the final appearance of the art work. Each set of images will be posted for a defined time period and there is no limit to the number of editions that may be printed.

Four editions of Artist Direct were produced in 2006. The first edition was a set of 13 plates with the images of all the people executed by California since the state reinstated the death penalty in 1977. Edition #2 was a calendar of security bollards. Edition #3 was a self-portrait puzzle. Edition #4 was a set of postcards with photos taken of me immediatly upon waking up in the morning—a homage to On Kawara.

Future editions of Artist Direct might be produced, but for now I'm focusing on my design line, Futility, Ltd., which is a much more functional version of Artist Direct.
