I mostly work in 3D media (see merkelhess.net) but photography is of great interest to me and is increasingly important to my work. I'm using this blog to share photos of works in progress and things I notice. Having a venue to share my photos also challenges me to make better photos.
I'm shooting with a Nikon D50 and the kit lens. Photos are uploaded with minimal tweaking in Photoshop.
